“…And whatsoever you spend of anything (in Allah’s Cause), He will replace it. And He is the Best of providers.” (Surah Saba`, 34:39)
When we look over our history, and attempt to find the things that made Islam great and Muslims the best people in the world, we find that the principle characteristic has been a total, unflinching dedication to our deen. When Muslims truly dedicated themselves to perfecting their character by learning and practising the perfect way of life that is Islam, our society rose to heights unattainable in any other way.
Today, the Ummah finds itself facing many problems. Whenever one abates, another difficulty arises. Opinions on how this came about are many, but one thing is agreed upon with no exception; education is of critical importance if we are to remedy this situation. Who will take up this responsibility? Muslims must find those organizations that are dedicated to the teaching of traditional Islam, the way it was created by Allah and transmitted to us by our Nabi Muhammad(saw). We must provide any assistance we can, be it physical by helping directly, financially through donations, or by simply promoting those groups within the community by word of mouth. YMA is by no means the only organization carrying this banner. There are many, both locally and around the world, all equally deserving of your assistance.
This page, as you may have guessed, enables you to contribute to YMA financially. However, do not think that that is the only way in which you can assist? If you feel you can contribute in any non-financial way, such as teaching at our Islamic school, providing skilled work on our various technical projects or simply by joining us at our events and helping prepare food, then please contact us. We look forward to hearing from you!
Said Rasulullah (saw): “Every person will be in the shade of his Sadaqah” (i.e. it will shade him from the heat of the sun on the Day of Resurrection).”
Rasulullah (saw) is reported to have said: “There are four deeds of the living which can reach the dead… [they include] a man who gives ongoing charity (SadaqahJariyah) that will continue after he dies – he will have the reward for that as long as it continues; and a man who teaches beneficial knowledge (’IlmunNafi’ah) which others act upon after he dies – he will receive a reward like that of those who act upon it, without it reducing from his reward in the slightest.” (Bukhari)There is no any causes yet.
